As we say farewell to our glorious Fall temperatures and welcome Winter’s holiday spirit, I want to thank you for all your heart-filled support.
COVID-19 continues to impact our community and our healthcare teams at Victoria Hospital and ACCESS Fort Garry. It has strained the mental health of patients, staff, and families and added new challenges for those already struggling with mental illness.
But, we remain resolute in our mission. This year marks our 50th Anniversary, and throughout the past 50 years, we have been committed to advancing mental health and eldercare initiatives for everyone in our community. Your support is the foundation of the new Women’s Heart Health Prevention Program, research in Bariatric Care for Indigenous Peoples in Manitoba, and the second season of Calls For Comfort to help combat senior isolation with phone calls and care packages.
