Victoria Hospital Foundation’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce Nicole Chammartin has been selected as its next Executive Director effective July 26, 2021. Nicole replaces Charlene Rocke who has led Victoria Hospital Foundation since 2009 and is retiring effective June 30, 2021. The Board of Directors thanks Charlene for her many contributions over the past 11 years.
Chammartin joins Victoria Hospital Foundation as an experienced senior leader with a strong ability to influence, collaborate, and create partnerships across sectors. Her expertise in strategic and operational planning, team building, policy development, quality improvement and risk management will serve as an exceptional foundation to guide the organization in advancing healthcare at Victoria Hospital and in our community.

Chammartin previously served as Executive Director of Klinic Community Health where she was responsible for all aspects of service delivery, financial and human services management of over 200 staff and volunteers. Prior to joining Klinic Community Health, Chammartin was the Executive Director of the Canadian Mental Health Association of Winnipeg and Manitoba, where she oversaw the merger of the two organizations to create a larger and stronger voice for mental health in Manitoba.
Over the last 12 years, Chammartin’s leadership has been fundamental to the success of organizations that play a pivotal role in community and mental health in Manitoba.
