On September 12, a sold-out crowd filled the large tent just outside The Vic’s Miracle Garden for our 4th Annual Miracle Garden Party. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and supporters, we raised over $126,000 in support of mental health. Net proceeds from the event will be invested in mental health initiatives at The Vic. At a time when 28 per cent of Manitobans live with at least one mental illness, supporting these initiatives is crucial.
Miracle Garden Party guests had an amazing night Under The Big Top with delicious food and dazzling performances. They savoured food from East India Company Pub & Eatery, deer + almond’s Chef Mandel Hitzer, Brazen Hall Kitchen & Brewery, and Frescolio while enjoying desserts from Chocolatier Constance Popp and Pinky’s Bakeshop.
Hosted by national radio star Trevor Dineen, our Miracle Garden Party featured music and performances from award-winning duo Garrett & Nazeem and Sarah Teakle of the Teakle Family Circus. Guests traveled to another world through the virtual reality station presented by The Portal. They also had the opportunity to take home over $14,000 in fabulous raffle prizes.
