Come one, come all! Our 4th Annual Miracle Garden Party will be “Under The Big Top,” and it’s drawing quite the crowd. Many big-name Winnipeggers have already pledged their time and talent to support mental wellness in our community.
National radio personality and mental health advocate Trevor Dineen from CBC Radio’s Now or Never will host this unforgettable evening, which also features prominent community leaders such as internationally-acclaimed Chef Mandel Hitzer and Presenting Sponsor Sachit Mehra of East India Company Pub & Eatery.
“We must pay it forward to build a healthier future for our community,” Mehra said. “It’s really special we have such a great opportunity to give back.”
The event’s specialty menu will feature mouthwatering korma and butter chicken cups from East India Company, delicious delicacies designed by deer + almond’s Chef Mandel Hitzer, and even more fantastic dishes from Frescolio and Brazen Hall Kitchen & Brewery.
Plenty of options will be available for guests with a sweet tooth. Pinky's Bakeshop will supply an array of scrumptious baked goods, while Chocolatier Constance Popp and Mordens' of Winnipeg will provide delectable chocolates.
While being treated to this exquisite food, guests can enjoy top-notch entertainment and a chance to win wonderful prizes.
Local musicians Garrett & Nazeem, Winnipeg Nightlife & Lifestyle Awards 2018 Entertainers of the Year, are set to rock the house. The duo will lay down some adult-contemporary tracks in the big tent.
Joining the Miracle Garden Party this year is hula-hoop aficionado Sarah Teakle of the Teakle Family Circus. This renowned Winnipeg entertainer will dazzle the crowd “Under The Big Top” with her world-class hooping skills.
Guests will have the chance to be taken to another world. The Portal will set up a virtual reality station with two incredible games in the big tent.
Party-goers are also welcome to test their luck and enter a raffle with great prizes, including a $500 Via Rail voucher, Winnipeg Jets tickets and Manitoba Opera tickets.
This unforgettable evening of food and entertainment is all in support of a great cause. All proceeds from the event will be invested in mental health initiatives in our community.
“Mental illness touches all of our lives,” said Monika MacAngus, who co-chairs the Miracle Garden Party Committee with her husband Glen. “I am grateful to see our community come together to improve the lives of our families, friends, and neighbours.”
