Miracle Garden Party Raises Over $113,000

On September 13, approximately 275 guests attended our 3rd Annual Miracle Garden Party in support of Mental Health. Sponsors, supporters and guests of this extraordinary evening raised an incredible $113,000. The net proceeds will be invested in mental health initiatives at Victoria Hospital.

The Vic is currently transforming to better meet the healthcare needs of our community in the areas of mental health and aging. The Canadian Mental Health Association reports that one in five people each year in Canada will personally experience a mental health problem or illness.

This unforgettable evening featured a collaborative menu from internationally-acclaimed chef Mandel Hitzer of deer + almond, East India Company, Tony Roma's and Calabria Market. Guests were treated to live entertainment by local adult contemporary artists Garrett & Nazeem.
